New UV Dryers
At FPL we can manufacture UV dryers tailored specifically to suit your application.
We design our controls with the operator in mind, keeping them simple to understand and to operate. We use the most up to date PLC’s with Touch Screen Controls or, if you prefer Relay Logic, or a mixture of both.
Most of our systems have been for use in the print industry i.e. a 5 lamp system on a Heidelberg press with three lamps end of press, one precoat and one perfector.
We also do specials.
The UV system below was developed by us some years ago for the Cumberland Pencil Company who received the Queen’s Award for Innovation for their process. Their system is a unique, compact UV head, only 50mm wide with two lamps, one up, one down, giving 600 w/in (240w/cm).
